Ranging from 100% synth-based vapor athmospheres of "City NZ23" to the almost all-metal-thing "Cliffs of Caladan", 5... no wait, 7 new tracks will be published in the upcoming Alex Kult's "Arcade Cabinet" (teaser).

But wait. There's a Ah-ah moment: the Heavy Metal version of STAR PRIME's Cyber Sunset will be included at the 8th track of this album.

20240918 - Another synthwave experiment is out now. "City NZ23", this one has no guitar parts, only synths!

The core of the song dates back to early 2023, back from a trip in New Zealand, when I wrote a quite long "soundtrack" (unreleased) for my photos and videos. Then recently I pick that minute-and-a-half and gave it shape.

As for the previous songs "Modern Barbakan" and "Rocky Mountain / Aseniwuche", there is a stupid but effective video clip for "City NZ23", and the song is published on Soundcloud as audio only too.

20240814 - This is "Rocky Mountain / Aseniwuche", a sparkling and rather intense synthwave song written after a trip to Denver CO/USA.

Au contraire wrt "Modern Barabkan" this was written in a couple of days, you never know how things go with music... 

"Aseniwuche" means literaly rocky mountain, and it is the traditional Cree word ᐊᓭᓂᐓᒉ for it.

20240405 - So, here it is "Modern Barbakan", a dark synthwave song made with some "vintage" instruments.

This one was written months ago while experimenting on my own searching for the Star Prime mindset; the song was left unfinished waiting for the right input (inspiration? A trip to Warsaw/Poland provided a lot!).

The title recalls the Warsaw Barbican (Barbakan , "old town walls", in Polish).

I put toghether a video clip with some pictures of the town taken during a recent trip. Enjoy!

20231129 - Finally I can tell you about this. Very intense work in the last months, a substantial part of which was dedicated to writing "Space Avenues" by STAR PRIME, a synthwave rock experience for which I joined forces with my dear friend Joseph Moore (on keyboards).

A teaser with a short playthorugh  of the song "Cyber Sunset" is now available here!

The 8-tracks LP "Space Avenues" is now in production and will be released in 2024.

20230307 - Here it is a cover of "The Hellion / Electric Eye" from the 1982's "Screaming For Venegeance" by Judas Priest!

In order to both enjoy with others with no copyright infringement, the track is released as a private link on Sound Cloud posted on the Ramen Fury Studios' Telegram Channel (feel free to join) so that it is not "publicly available" (ok it's a grey zone).

20230109 - Year 2022 is gone with the very satisfying release of Kult of Kaos (digital version) on the new year's eve!

So, what's going on at Ramen Fury Studios for the future?

In terms of publications, the 2023 agenda includes, not in this order, the release of a post-rock album, "Burnt to the Ground" by Chestnut Revolution; a Judas Priest cover/karaoke; and possibly a physical edition of Kult of Kaos (in bundle with a t-shirt or similar, hand made and in perfect "tnbm" style).  Also, it would be great to shoot a gross video for Kult of Kaos' Grand Magus, let's see...

On the back-end, not in this order again, I'm working on some catchy Synth Wave ideas with an old friend of mine. On the other side it is indeed time to track a bunch of songs I composed in the last two years. These songs were thought to form a musical kaleydoscope, with no apparent stylistic link.

20220909 - The mixing process of "Kult of Kaos" is finally complete, now here we go for the mastering. The most advanced preview I can show you is... the joint stereo track, on the left.

20220809 - Just playing with the midjourney drawing AI while closing the mix of Kult of Kaos. Input command for this was /imagine ramen fury, sitting on an astonishing bowl and an orange audiocassette in background. Definitely not too accurate but surprising (pics at the top) enough! No way to obtain anithing similar to the hungry-cassette logo.

[update - 20220819] Finally I got the invitation to the Dall-E beta, which produced funny stuff too (bottom), even though I slightly changed the description in the end ("ramen fury, sitting on an astonishing bowl and an orange audio tape cassette inside"). 

20220713 - A single will be extracted from the upcoming LP "Kult of Kaos".  The song picked for the task is "Grand Magus". I will release it only in digital format to be available for free on most streaming services...

The tentative release date is September 30, 2022!

I drew the "angry (and hungry!?) cassette" by both hands and with the tablet. The "japanese flavoured" logo is made with Inkscape, so no copyrighted fonts were harmed.

20220630 - Ramen Fury Studios first release! Here is the instrumental track "Thought Experiments", included in the single of the same title.
